Dear Mr. Chris Christie and Governor Jon Corzine

On behalf of our 30 full member and affiliate member congregations and organizations, representing over 10,000 NJ residents, CCOP is respectfully requesting your presence at our fall 2009 Camden Gubernatorial Forum this September.  You will each have your own evning to address the citizens of Camden and the surrounding region.

The CCOP leadership team plans to mobilize between 500-1000 voters for the event, the focus will be the current status of Camden, the state recovery, and what your goals will be for our city if you are elected this November.

Once a date is settled upon our leadership team will be happy to share with you and your staff what questions will be asked so that you will have plenty of time to prepare and know what to expect the evening of the event.

CCOP feels strongly about Camden and in the last 24 years have worked faithfully to ensure that the basic quality of life issues are addressed in a transparent and accountable way, and it is with this credential that we respectfully invite you to come and speak to our people and share with them your plans to achieve success in our city.

We ask that your scheduler contact us no later then July 15th with a day and time that will work for you in Late September. Several of our key leaders will make follow-up phone calls to this letter.

In closing we want to thank you for your service of our State and we are excited to have this opportunity to look ahead at not only Camden's future but the future of all New Jersey.

Respectfully,

Reverend Willie Anderson & Monsignor Robert McDermott
