It's always fun looking back on all the things leaders have done to build power and transform their communities. Each year, we try to compile a video that captures those moments.
Faith-based, grassroots, civil liberties, community service and labor communities united to address issues of justice and equality around labor, law enforcement, identifications and driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants. The New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice formally launched March 25, 2015 in Camden to announce a diverse broad-based campaign to institute policies that will make New Jersey a more immigrant-friendly state. The new alliance will focus on the rights of workers, relationships with law enforcement, identification and driver's licenses.
Camden Churches Organized for People published the following video to recap our victories for the audience at the Fall Into Action Fundraiser. The events included are from August 2013 - November 2014.
"A push to help shrink the number of people out of work in Camden is moving forward. A group of churches has drafted the Contract for Camden...Camden Churches Organized for People announced this morning the contract had gotten ONE THOUSAND signatures!"

Navigators, Certified Application Counselors, hospital executives, faith leaders and Camden residents tell success stories and remind the public to get enrolled by the March 31st deadline!
